FGI Lays Out Telemedicine Guidelines
New document takes proactive approach to set minimum standards and guidance for telemedicine settings

Minimum requirements for design of spaces where telemedicine services will be provided were added to the 2018 edition, along with some recommendations in the appendix for improved functionality. This new content is discussed in this May 2018 Health Facilities Management article.

The 2018 edition of the FGI Guidelines for Design and Construction was published as three documents: Guidelines for Design and Construction of Hospitals, Guidelines for Design and Construction of Outpatient Facilities, and Guidelines for Design and Construction of Residential Health, Care, and Support Facilities.
