Guidelines Errata – Be sure you’re using current errata sheets

Errata and Addenda

The FGI Guidelines documents are complex, and—after they are published at the end of a revision cycle—errors are sometimes found. Corrections to these errors are compiled on an errata sheet for each document. Because these corrections are enforceable as part of the text when it is adopted for to regulate facility design and construction, it is important for all Guidelines users to have the most up-do-date errata sheets at their fingertips.

Where to Access the Errata Sheets

Please check this page on the FGI website periodically to make sure you have the current errata sheets. Updates are announced in the quarterly FGI Bulletin (sent out via email and posted on the FGI website) and on the Facility Guidelines Institute’s LinkedIn company page.

Subscribers to FGI Guidelines documents on MADCAD will find the errata sheets posted there. In your eLibrary, look for the [+] symbol to the right of the the book title; click it and the errata sheet will show up. The image below shows the 2018 Outpatient document with the [+] symbol waiting to be clicked and the 2018 Hospital document with the errata sheet showing and the [+] changed to [-].
